The American International School of Bolivia
AISB recognizes that the development of good citizens and international leaders in the modern world requires more than research and critical thinking. This understanding, shared with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is the impulse that motivated the implementation of a two-year community service requirement in 9th and 10th grades.
· On March 10 we held the Solidarity Walkathon, an event in which all our students participated to raise funds for charity.
Once again, our students stood out for their commitment, dedication and solidarity, completing many laps and encouraging others to participate in this important event. Here are the best photos of the event.
· The effort of our students in the Walkathon, makes possible the construction of an Educational Unit.
AISB students delivered the material for the construction of the Educational Unit "Airampu", in the educational district of Vila Vila. This work will be carried out thanks to the effort and social commitment of all our students, who participated in the "Walkathon 2023", raising funds for each lap given. We congratulate all the students who made it possible for the children of the primary level of that locality to have access to an educational unit, without having to travel the long distances they used to travel.
· Additionally, in 11th and 12th grades, students must meet the CAS Program requirements. The CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) Program includes community service and participation in creative arts and athletic activities.
