The academic curriculum at AISB complies with the curricular requirements of the Bolivian Ministry of Education, U.S. curriculum specifications, and the IB diploma syllabus.
We offer our students the opportunity to obtain four High School Diplomas:

  • Bolivian Baccalaureate Diploma.

  • Technical Baccalaureate Diploma.

  • American Baccalaureate Diploma.

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or Certificates.
  • AISB Pedagogical Curricular Program

    STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENTS

    The American International School of Bolivia has a policy of conducting external standardized evaluations at each grade level starting at the initial level, applying the following tests during the school year in order to monitor the curricular progress and the skills that students are gradually developing:

  • MAP test by the NWEA organization.

  • Pre SAT, SAT, Piense I y Piense II del College Board.

  • IB tests for the International Baccalaureate, of the International Baccalaureate Organization.

  • SAT, TOEFL iBT and ACT, these tests are optional, the AISB is an authorized center to administer these international tests.

  • LLECE, ERCE tests of UNESCO, or any other test instructed by the Bolivian Ministry of Education.

  • PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL CABINET

    It is made up of professionals in the area of psychology and psychopedagogy, and its objective is to provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, teachers and parents to promote the academic, emotional and social development of students.

    PARENT SCHOOL

    This is a service provided by the institution to parents and/or guardians with the objective of offering them various strategies to understand, support, comprehend and respond to the changes in the development process their children are going through, both in the emotional, affective, academic and social areas.

    Workshops and conferences are held on specific topics according to the social policies established by the educational authority and the needs observed in the different stages of student development.

    COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES

    Complementary academic, artistic and sports activities are offered in order to generate an optimal integral development of our students. These activities are elective and take place at the school during extracurricular hours.

    International Baccalaureate

    We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, which is part of our 11th and 12th grade curriculum.
