AIS/B is accredited to award both the U.S. High School Diploma and the Bolivian Bachillerato (diploma). Although the official language of instruction at AIS/B is English, those courses required for the Bolivian Bachillerato are taught in Spanish. The AIS/B high school program includes English Language courses; Spanish, French, German, Dutch or Mandarin as a third language; History and Social Studies; Math; Sciences; Art; Psychology; Philosophy; Bolivian Civics; Music; and Physical Education. High School students take an average of 12 courses per school year, in order to fullfil the American and Bolivian Diploma requirements. AIS/B requires a minimum of 30 units of credit for the U.S. High School Diploma. Credits per subject are shown in the table to the right : |
